50th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and The Netherlands
2023 marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Netherlands.
Over the past decades, the Vietnam – Netherlands relations have served as an example of dynamic and effective ties between the two countries.
Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha visited The Netherlands on the occasion of the 50th founding anniversary. Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Va held talks with his Dutch counterpart Deputy Prime Minister Carola Schouten and also had a meeting with Speaker of the House of Representatives Vera Bergkamp and President of the Senate Jan Anthonie Bruijn. Deputy Prime Minister described the Netherlands as Vietnam’s leading partner in trade, investment and cooperation in climate change adaptation.
On 26 June 2023 a Ceremony was held, commemorating the 50th anniversary in the presence of Prince Jaime de Bourbon de Parme, Climate Envoy of The Netherlands, Ministry of Economy and Climate.
